In line with the Egyptian government's efforts to enhance the dissemination and availability of information to raise societal awareness, promote transparency, and establish governance concepts, the application serves as a significant platform for engaging with the public. It allows the Information Center to provide updated data and information from various sources to shed light on the performance of different sectors. The app offers nearly 2,000 data values and indicators, including both local and global trends, local and global commodity prices, major stock market indices, financial markets, and diverse currency exchange rates.

Market Trends

The application highlights market trends by tracking prices of over 75 commodities globally and locally, covering essential goods such as oil, natural gas, metals, agricultural products, and many others. More than 40 indicators are periodically updated. It also monitors prices of over 30 local commodities like vegetables, fruits, meat, construction materials, and fertilizers on a daily basis.

Local and Global Indicators

Users can access crucial stock market movements globally and locally through more than 20 data points, along with foreign currency exchange rates. Additionally, over 100 national economic and social indicators are provided, addressing topics such as state budgeting, inflation, investments, GDP, monetary data, population figures, natural growth rates. Local indicator trends span over a decade with over 1,000 data points included in the app. Egypt's international standings are also reviewed by incorporating over 50 global indices comprising more than 500 sub-indices that are instantly updated from international sources.

News and Analysis

Another component of the app offers continuous monitoring of essential opinion articles and international reports from various newspapers, foreign news agencies, and global websites. This section includes analyses by experts across different fields, coverage of significant local, regional, and international news events around the clock. Additionally, it presents discussions on major local issues raised in Egyptian talk shows and local newspapers. On average, more than 400 local and global articles and news pieces are published weekly.

Publications, Reports & Multimedia

The new application enables users to access key publications from the Information Center covering diverse intellectual productions like multimedia content including infographics, videographics, podcasts. It also features research publications offering analyses on various topics alongside book reviews focusing on developmental concepts, international experiences, and expertise. Currently offering over a thousand publications available through the Publications & Reports section as well as multimedia content.

The launch of this new application marks the culmination of the Information Center's efforts in keeping pace with technological advancements to enhance services provided to beneficiaries through technology utilization and data enhancement while considering daily life transformations across various domains. This initiative aims to contribute towards societal advancement and ensuring a better life for citizens.
